About Salt mSign

Salt mSign is a mobile security authenticator that protects your access to banking, e-government, corporate services, and enterprise applications using multi-factor authentication (MFA). Unlike generic authenticators, this app connects directly to authentication servers—meaning your verification responses reach the right place instantly, independent of how the login request arrived.

Use biometric sign-in with your fingerprint or PIN to log into internet banking, government portals, and corporate online services. The app supports industry-standard protocols including RADIUS, Microsoft ADFS, SAML federated login, and Shibboleth, so it works across cloud platforms and browser-based web applications. You get the same authenticator for all your organization's mobile apps—no need to juggle multiple tools.

For high-value transactions, Salt mSign shows you exactly what you're signing before you approve it (What You See Is What You Sign, or WYSIWYS). This transparency protects against hidden transaction tampering. The app can deliver transaction details via secure QR code or Figaro code, which you scan with your device camera for offline signing—useful when internet connectivity is limited. It also handles advanced approval workflows where payment initiators and authorizers are different people, with support for multiple signatories and quorum-based approvals.

The authenticator replaces hardware tokens, handles Card Not Present payments, and supports 3D Secure transactions. It uses public key cryptography with both symmetric and asymmetric key support, ensuring your signatures are cryptographically sound. Rich content delivery means large transaction payloads display with graphics and formatted data so you can review everything clearly.

Administrators can configure PIN length, retry thresholds, signature code lengths, language preferences, token display timeouts, and issuer branding to match organizational security policies. The app works anywhere in the world and requires no dependency on your browser—full browser independence means you're not locked into one platform or setup.

Salt mSign delivers a familiar, straightforward interface backed by enterprise-grade security. Your organization will need to register with Salt Group to deploy this authenticator, but once set up, you gain a single, reusable MFA tool across your entire mobile workspace.
